Pennsylvania Dutch Spinach - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices diced bacon
3 c. chopped spinach
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
3/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation

Fry bacon crisp and add to spinach.
Add flour to drippings and blend.
Add hot water and cook until thick.
Add sugar, vinegar and seasonings.
Pour over spinach.
Stir until wilted.
Garnish with eggs.
Serves 6.
