Rice Krispie Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 pkg. pitted dates
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Chop dates and pecans.
    Melt butter in saucepan; add sugar and dates and simmer 10 to 12 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add cereal and nuts.
    Cool until soft ball can be formed.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Store in covered container.
    Easy to make and very, very good.
