Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
12 oz. cream
2 tsp. vanilla or lemon
5 to 6 medium ripe bananas
10 to 12 oz. vanilla wafers
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in milk.
Cook over low heat until thick.
