Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    3 c. water
    1 qt. vodka
    1 vanilla bean
    1 c. water (boiling)
    2 oz. Folgers crystals
Preparation
    Mix sugar and 3 cups water. Boil hard for 20 minutes to make syrup.
    Dissolve coffee in 1 cup boiling water.
    Split vanilla bean lengthwise.
    Drop in a 1/2 gallon jug.
    Add vodka, syrup and coffee.
    Let stand for 2 weeks and remove vanilla bean.
