Cheese-Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 medium potatoes
    2 to 3 carrots, grated
    1 c. celery, chopped fine
    1/2 c. onions
    salt to taste
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place veggies in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Barely cover with water. Simmer gently until tender.
    Add milk.
    Heat until warm.
    Add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Ready to serve.
