Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 t. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 t. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour, and salt over med. heat.
    Gradually add the milk.
    Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.
    Cook for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Separate eggs, reserving whites for meringue.
    stir 3 yolks slightly and stir a small amount of hot mixture into.
    Then return to hot mixture and cook 2 minutes stirring constantly.
