Pat'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/3 c. onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    3 Tbsp. Mexican hot chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can Italian tomato sauce
    1 can dark red kidney beans
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 can stewed tomatoes (optional)
Preparation
    Saute hamburger and onion in shortening.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
