Meat And Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. raw rice
    1 stalk celery, sliced thin
    1 carrot, sliced thin
    2 tsp. butter
    2 medium potatoes, sliced thin
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a greased 2-quart casserole dish, put a thin layer of meat and potatoes.
    Sprinkle on rice, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper.
    Layer in this order until all used up.
    Pour tomato sauce and water on top and dot with butter.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0
    for 1 1/2 hours.
