Holiday Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
3 c. chopped pecans
2 c. chopped walnuts
1-1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (2 blocks)
5 large eggs
2 c. cake flour
Preparation

Preheat over to 250\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour and mix well.
Add nuts and fruit to mixture and stir with a spoon.
Grease a cake pan.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
