Maxines Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. heavy cream, not whipped
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. plain flour
1/2 stick butter or oleo
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
4 large apples, pared and diced
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift flour and sugar together.
Mix in cream and pineapple. Cook in double boiler or heavy saucepan until thick.
Remove from fire and add oleo and cool.
Pour over diced apples and nuts. Dressing may be made in advance and refrigerated.
