Blackberry Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. blackberries
    1 (10 count) can biscuits
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix water, sugar and butter and bring to a boil.
    Set aside. Roll out each biscuit in a small amount of flour into the size of a small circle. Put blackberries in each circle and bring edges together, pinching to hold them together.
    Do not seal edges completely.
    Place in baking dish and pour sugar water over all. Bake at 375\u00b0 until biscuits are brown.
    Baste syrup over biscuits when done.
    Extra blackberries can be put in syrup before baking.
