Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of cayenne
1 medium onion, chopped
1 qt. fresh oysters
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease a 2-quart casserole or 6 to 8 individual casseroles.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Remove from heat; add flour and stir until smooth.
Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until light brown.
Add paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic, onion and green pepper.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add oysters and their liquid, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
