Fudgy Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    approximately 60 candy kisses, unwrapped
    2 oz. white baking chocolate bar or vanilla candy coating
    1 tsp. shortening or oil
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and butter.
    Cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
    Add sweetened condensed milk and mix well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off.
    In medium bowl, combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Shape 1 tablespoon (use measuring spoon) of dough around each kiss, covering completely.
