Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg, beaten
5 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Mix ingredients.
After it is mixed all together, divide into 3 parts.
Roll each part out very thin and let dry for about 20 minutes.
Cut into small strips and drop into broth of boiled chicken.
Chicken may be picked off the bone and added to broth and dumplings.
