Walnut Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts
    3 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/4 c. bourbon
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix the vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners sugar, cocoa and walnuts.
    Add corn syrup and bourbon and mix well. With hands, roll mixture into 1-inch balls, then roll each in granulated sugar.
    If desired, wrap each ball in plastic wrap or colored foil.
    Store in tightly covered container.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
