Gena'S Yellow Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Grease and lightly flour two 8 x 1 1/2-inch or two 9 x 1 1/2-inch round cake pans.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Beat butter about 30 seconds.
Add sugar and vanilla; beat until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each.
Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to beaten mixture, beating after each addition.
Turn into pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until done.
Cool 10 minutes on wire racks.
Remove from pans.
Cool.
Serves 12.
Also can be used for cupcakes.
