Calico Corn Custard(Makes 8 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small red pepper
1 small green pepper
2 (12 oz.) cans corn
milk
3 eggs
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. half and half
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 1/2-quart baking dish.
Dice peppers.
Place in large bowl. Strain corn and reserve liquid. Add corn to peppers.
Add milk to reserved liquid to measure 1 cup.
Beat eggs thoroughly.
Beat in sugar, nutmeg, salt, pepper, half and half and milk.
Pour in prepared dish and bake in boiling hot water bath in oven for 40 minutes.
