Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. celery, cut in 1/4 to 1/2-inch pieces
    1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 small jar pimentos (including liquid)
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts
    salt to taste
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook celery in boiling water to just cover for 8 minutes.
