Snowball Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large angel food cake
juice of 1 lemon
1 pkg. Angel Flake coconut
3 pkg. whipped topping (Dream Whip)
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in 4 tablespoons cold water.
Add 1 cup boiling water.
Let cool.
Add juice of lemon, pineapple, sugar and salt.
Mix thoroughly and put in refrigerator to cool.
While this is partially setting, break cake into bite size pieces.
Also prepare 2 packages of Dream Whip as directed.
When gelatin mixture is partially set, mix with whipped topping.
Line a 4-quart bowl with wax paper.
Mix gelatin mixture and cake pieces thoroughly and pour into lined bowl.
Refrigerate overnight.
Turn cake onto cake plate.
Frost with the third box of whipped topping, prepared as directed.
Cover generously with coconut.
