Simple Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    4 oz. uncooked spaghetti
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. dried parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add onion and beef and saute until beef browns.
    Add tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil and pepper; blend well and bring to boiling.
    Break spaghetti in half and sprinkle into boiling sauce a little at a time, stirring to keep it separated.
    Cover tightly.
    Simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally.
    Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
    Serves 3 to 4.
