Texas Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small bowl; mix well. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add evaporated milk; mix well.
Stir in pecan halves and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
Bake additional 35 to 40 minutes, or until filling is puffed in center or is well browned.
Cool before serving.
