Maggie'S Special Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    2 c. seedless green grapes, halved
    2 medium apples, cored and chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In small saucepan, mix sugar with cornstarch.
    Blend in 1 cup water and the vinegar.
    Cook, stirring until boiling and thickened.
    Transfer to small bowl; cover.
    Refrigerate until chilled.
    In large bowl, toss remaining ingredients with prepared dressing.
    Makes 4 servings.
