Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. butter
    dash of salt
    10 to 12 large peeled apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 regular or 1 large pkg. vanilla pudding (French vanilla tastier; not instant)
    5 or 6 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Slice apples.
    Put apples in pan.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
