Country-Style Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
3-4 Tbsp. plain flour
salt to taste
3-4 Tbsp. fat
1/4 c. flour
2 c. water
Preparation

Mix meat, 3-4 tablespoons of flour, and salt and shape into patties with a floured rolling pin on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Brown on both sides in 3-4 tablespoons of fat. Remove meat and pour off all but 2-3 tablespoons of fat from frying.
Add 1/4 cup flour and allow to brown as it is stirred occasionally.
Add water and cook until thick.
Layer meat and gravy in a casserole dish.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30-45 minutes.
