Pork Chops And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops, slightly browned
    1 can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
    1 onion
    a few juniper berries and peppercorns
    1/2 c. applesauce
    1 c. wine
Preparation
    Wash
    and rinse sauerkraut and place in casserole.
    Put onion in
    center
    and
    add
    juniper
    berries and peppercorns. Distribute applesauce over the top.
    Pour wine over all, then add
    a
    little water to just about cover.
    Simmer slowly (covered),
    about
    1 1/2
    hours.
    Place
    browned
    chops among the sauerkraut and bake in 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
