German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon
1 small onion, chopped
4 to 5 large potatoes, cubed (red potatoes are better)
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 can chicken broth
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 to 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Preparation

On medium heat, fry bacon until crisp; set aside.
Drain off all but 3 to 4 tablespoons of grease; save rest.
Fry onion in bacon grease until transparent.
You may need to add a little more grease.
Add potato cubes, salt and pepper.
Fry potatoes, stirring often to keep from sticking.
When just about done, mix cornstarch, chicken broth, parsley and vinegar.
Add to potatoes and stir together well.
Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 more minutes.
Mix in bacon.
Serve hot.
