Pole Beans With Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh pole beans
    2 firm ripe tomatoes, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 slices uncooked bacon
Preparation
    Wash and snap pole beans into bite size pieces; put into large saucepan and cover with water.
    Add onion and bacon; cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Cover and cook on medium heat for 1 hour. Uncover; add chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Continue cooking on medium heat, uncovered, until water is nearly gone.
