Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. squash
    1 onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 stick butter
    1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in water until tender; drain.
    Add egg. Mix salt, sugar, cheese and part of butter; cook until melted. Pour into baking dish; pour cracker crumbs over top and dot with butter.
    Bake until butter is melted and browned.
