Chili Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (4 oz.) cans whole green chilies, cut in half lengthwise
    1/4 c. milk (plus)
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. flour
    4 eggs, beaten
    4 dashes of hot sauce
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion in skillet; drain.
    Stir in salt and pepper; set aside.
    Arrange half the green chilies in a greased 6 x 10-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Top with meat, then remaining chilies.
    Combine flour and 1/4 cup milk.
    Blend until smooth.
    Add eggs, 1 1/4 cups milk and hot sauce; mix well.
    Pour over meat and chilies.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let stand 5 minutes before cutting to serve.
