Olivia'S Summer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crushed Melba toast
    sliced homegrown tomatoes
    sliced onions (thin)
    sliced peeled cucumbers
    salt and pepper
    1/2 pt. homemade mayonnaise
Preparation
    In a flat casserole dish, place 1 layer of crushed Melba toast, 1 layer of sliced homegrown tomatoes, 1 layer of thinly sliced onions and 1 layer of sliced peeled cucumbers.
    Salt and pepper each layer.
    Spoon homemade mayonnaise on cucumber layer. Make as many layers as you need, sprinkling crushed Melba toast over final layer of mayonnaise.
    Cover and keep in fridge for 24 hours before serving.
    Stir before placing on table.
