Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs, separated
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 2/3 c. graham crackers, crushed (about 40)
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add well beaten egg yolks and vanilla.
    Mix coconut, pecans, crackers and baking powder and add to sugar mixture alternately with milk.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
    Bake at 375\u00b0
    for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Batter will be thin.
