Christmas Tree Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. ???
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 1/2 to 3 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. maple flavored syrup
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp. orange juice
colored sugar sprinkles
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Combine next 7 ingredients in heavy saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until cheese melts.
Cool to 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0.
Add eggs; beat 1 minute on medium speed of mixer.
Stir in yeast mixture, pineapple and enough flour to make a soft dough.
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (about 8 to 10 minutes).
Place in well-greased bowl, turning to grease top.
Cover and let rise in warm place (85\u00b0), free from drafts 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
