Old Timers Pork Rib And Oyster Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. small pork ribs
    2 large bell peppers, chopped
    1 c. water
    1 c. parsley
    2 doz. oysters with liquid
    3 c. cooked rice
    2 large onions, chopped
    4 ribs celery, chopped
    1 c. shallots, chopped (tops and bottoms)
Preparation
    Brown ribs.
    Add onions, bell peppers and celery.
    Add one cup water.
    Cover and cook on slow heat until ribs are tender (about 1 1/2 hours).
    Add small amount of water, but keep sauce thick.
    Add oysters and liquid; cook ten minutes.
    Add shallots, parsley and rice.
    Mix thoroughly.
