Butter Dips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
5 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
(I like to use 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and the rest white flour.) Add milk.
Mix well and roll out on floured surface to size to fit 9 x 13-inch baking pan in which you have butter or margarine.
Place dough in and turn over so both sides are coated.
Cut into thirds across the pan and then into 6 to 8 strips.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven approximately 18 minutes.
I have sprinkled poppy seed or sesame seed into the margarine before putting the dough into the pan.
I have also added 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder to the dough before baking and sprinkled the top with Parmesan cheese and dry Italian (Good Seasons) dressing mix when I take out of oven for Garlic Butter Dips.
