Smoked Salmon Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (1 lb. or 2 c.) salmon
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. finely chopped or grated onion
    1 tsp. prepared horseradish
    1/4 tsp. salt
    few dashes of garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
    3/4 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
    crackers
Preparation
    Drain and flake salmon, removing skin and bones.
    Combine salmon with next 7 ingredients.
    Chill several hours.
    Shape salmon mixture into 1 large or 2 small balls.
    Coat with either chopped pecans or the parsley.
    Chill well.
    Serve with crackers. Serves 10.
    Approximate time to prepare:
    20 minutes
    (Needs 2 to 3 hours to chill.)
