Lettuce Toss With Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon, diced
    4 c. leaf lettuce
    1 large tomato, diced
    1/4 c. green onion, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of fat. Tear lettuce into bowl.
    Add tomato and onion.
    Sprinkle greens with seasonings.
    Combine 1 tablespoon of bacon fat and vinegar. Bring to boil.
    Pour over salad, tossing lightly to mix.
    Crumble bacon over top of salad.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 6.
