Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. flour
    4 c. cut up rhubarb
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat.
    Add boiling water, then fold in remaining cup of sugar.
    Add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Beat well and fold in egg whites.
    Place cut up rhubarb in buttered pan.
    Pour batter over rhubarb and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
