Gram'S Quick Fix Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. macaroni shells (medium size) or 1 1/2 c. elbows
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    chopped onion (optional)
    2 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    sprinkle of cinnamon
    oregano to taste
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni (no salt) per package directions.
    Place meat in large skillet over low heat; cover and cook until red disappears and drain off liquid.
    Add remaining ingredients, except macaroni, and let simmer for short time until flavor is blended, stirring a few times.
    Add drained macaroni and mix well.
    If mixture is too thick, add small amount of milk.
    Serve hot.
