Southern-Fried Chicken Strips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. low-fat plain yogurt
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. leaf thyme, crumbled
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. boneless, skinned chicken breast, cut into strips about 3 x 1/2 x 1/2-inches
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. ground hot red pepper
vegetable oil for frying
Preparation

Combine milk and yogurt.
Add chicken strips, toss to mix. Combine dry ingredients on piece of wax paper.
Put 1/4 inch oil into skillet and heat to 325\u00b0.
Add evenly coated chicken, avoiding overcrowding skillet.
Cook until browned on bottom. Turn to brown other side.
Remove from oil to drain.
Serve immediately.
