Swiss Fruit Bread - cooking recipe

3/4 c. chopped dried pears
1/2 c. chopped pitted prunes
1/2 c. mixed dried fruits
1/4 c. grape juice
2 c. flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 tsp. orange peel
1/2 c. walnuts
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Soak dried fruit in juice several hours.
In a large mixer bowl, stir flour, yeast and spices.
Heat milk, butter, sugar and salt to warm (to 120\u00b0).
Add to dry mixture.
Add eggs and shredded orange peel.
Beat with mixer on low speed.
Beat 3 minutes on high speed.
Stir in fruit mixture, walnuts and 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour to make soft dough.
Knead 8 to 10 minutes.
Use dough hook.
Shape in ball.
Place in greased bowl.
Let rise until double.
Shape in 2 loaves.
Let rise 60 minutes.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
