24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into small pieces
    1/2 c. green onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained (optional)
    1/2 lb. of bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/2 pt. mayonnaise
    1/8 to 1/4 c. sugar (to taste)
    3/8 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Line bowl with lettuce and layer the onions, peppers, celery, peas and bacon.
    Mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise and sugar; spoon in, covering the other ingredients.
    Spread side-to-side to seal in flavor and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate.
