Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium flame with a candy thermometer to thread stage (232\u00b0).
    Remove from flame and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 1/2 cups pecan halves. Stir until pecans are well coated and mixture is creamy.
    Pour onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Separate pecans as they cool.
