Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. Quaker oats (uncooked)
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on a cookie sheet. Makes about 4 dozen. Cookie bars use 13 x 9 metal pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
