Chow Chow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. chopped cabbage
3 c. cauliflowerets
2 c. sliced onions
2 c. diced green pepper
1 c. diced red pepper
2 c. chopped green tomatoes
4 Tbsp. salt
2 c. cider vinegar
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
Preparation

Wash, drain and prepare vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt. Cover and let stand overnight.
Turn into a colander, drain and rinse well with cold water.
