Frosted Grapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large egg whites
    1 lb. seedless green grapes, separated into small bunches
    1 lb. seedless red grapes, separated into small bunches
    superfine granulated sugar (for coating the grapes)
Preparation
    Wash grapes and place on a towel.
    Pat with towel and set grapes aside to completely dry.
    In a bowl, beat the egg whites until they are just frothy.
    With a pastry brush, brush the grapes lightly but thoroughly with the beaten whites.
    Arrange the grapes on racks and sift the sugar over them, turning them to coat them evenly.
    Chill the grapes until the sugar is set, and arrange them carefully in a serving bowl or on a lovely tray.
