Oatmeal Hot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs (whole)
1 c. nuts, finely chopped or raisins or both
Preparation

Measure oats.
Let stand
in
boiling water 15 minutes. Combine sugar, shortening, salt,
egg, soda and baking powder. Mix well on low speed mixer.
Add
vanilla
and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
