Marshmallow Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water (I cook the sugar and water until it forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water.)
    Add slowly to egg whites.
    While still warm, add cream of tartar and vanilla. Beat until bowl is cool.
