Ma-Mo'S Sunday Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken legs
    chicken breasts
    Crisco
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large onion, cut up
    1 big clove garlic
Preparation
    Melt 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons Crisco in deep frying pan. Place chicken pieces in.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Brown on each side.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Fry with chicken until onion and garlic are cooked or soft, then cover chicken with water.
    Cook over medium heat until all or most of water is gone.
    Chicken should be very tender.
    If not, add more water and cook down again.
