An Old Easy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine or 3 sticks may be used
    1 lb. box xxxx confectioners sugar
    1 lb. box plain flour or cake flour
    6 large eggs
    vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and flour alternately, ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and mix thoroughly.
    Prepare cake pan with shortening and flour and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
