15-Day Chunk Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. sugar
    1 1/2 qt. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. whole cloves
    a few sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Cover about 50 pickles with salt brine strong enough to hold an egg.
    Weight down and keep in brine 7 days.
